The most important part of this journey is the relationship we build in therapy.
Trauma, anxiety, life adjustments and change, grief/grieving, identity development, child and family issues, and improving communication
In therapy, you are the driver. I will assist you with the proper tools and guidance to steer you towards desired change and happiness.
I use a strengths-based perspective informed by evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. With couples, I use the Gottman Approach, a scientifically-supported approach to helping couples communicate more effectively, manage conflict, and regain trust. These approaches, along with a strong and authentic therapeutic relationship, will help you explore what is missing or what was lost in your life’s journey and relationships.
I enjoy working with individuals and families of many different cultural backgrounds, ages, sexual identities, and challenges. Together we will explore, learn, and process what works best for you.
I welcome clients in individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy.
